The City of La Quinta is set to begin the long-awaited rehabilitation of a two-mile section of Highway 111, stretching from west of Washington Street to Jefferson Street. Highway 111 is a vital route for both residents and visitors of the Coachella Valley, facilitating daily commutes for work, school, shopping, and dining, as well as providing access to recreational and entertainment options in and around La Quinta.
Project Improvements
The frequently used road will undergo pulverization and regrading prior to the installation of new pavement. Additionally, minor upgrades will be made to curb ramps to guarantee compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
